Phil’s bus paint up in some protective black just to keep it from going rusty in the short term…..next job, slam time!! watch this space!!
With Phil’s repairs made, it’s time to make good and put some water protective paint over it….it won’t match as it’s simply to keep everything water tight!
Phil’s bus gets a new outrigger and jacking point from Autocraft as well as some inner wheel arch repairs.
Phil’s front Off Side wheel arch is looking a little rusty and as this was flagged up on his last MOT, it’s now time to change it. So out with the old.
The other side of Phil’s enigne bay offered up to fit before welding the last piece of to the new side tray. This will need a few loacalised repairs to make solid again but nothing we can’t handle.
Once the side tray of the engine bay was off, we found the top of the chassis rail had rusted through, a common occurance on these later vans. The rest of the rail is solid so a new piece was made up and welded in, you’d never know!!
